NMV Feature: Saneit the R&B Sensation
Hailing from the west side of Chicago, R&B singer and song-writer Saneit is the new R&B sensation. The Chicago native has spent the last few years establishing her name in the ever changing music circuit; growing and displaying chameleon-like diversity by developing and switching up her sound with every new release. Not only has she learned to navigate her career through networking and vocal ability, with a recent BA in Public Relations from the Mecca, Howard University, she has also gained the tools to more professionally maintain her own image and career. As an independent artist with no ties to a label her debut album “Fantasy” is a culmination of heart and talent that counts for over 200,000 streams through a combination of various streaming services. Saneit’s confidence and love for her work is a testament to her growth and the control she takes over her creative process. With influences like Whitney Houston, Monica, Lauryn Hill, and Missy Elliot there is no doubt her name and work will be recognized and respected in the upcoming years.
Hailed by Essence as a Female Artist Who Belongs on Your Radar, Saneit recently debuted her newest video “Comma”, which recently hit 25k plays on YouTube, (produced by Jish B) “Comma” is shot in Hollywood and shows an animated and spicy Saneit. The visual features sexy scenes inside a doll-themed playhouse and a shopping spree along Melrose Avenue, as Saneit expresses herself confidently “Can’t believe they’re looking at a life sized Barbie”.
